The idea of this shoot was to capture something about the concert that none of the other photographers were doing. Most went with a alternative motive, to capture images for magazines and websites ready for an article to be written. Often in order to gain popularity of their brand. But here, I went with no motives except from capturing images like what I had seen from the emerging hardcore punk scene in the 1970's. I remember seeing archived images using harsh flash which encapsulated a rawness, reflecting on the HxC society at the time. Now with a new genre of metal being taken into flight we see here a rawness mixed with a diversity of colour and doubled exposure.
